Investigating Mirrors
This fun-filled kit introduces students to abstract concepts in science and mathematics. It applies the principle that children learn and understand more readily when taught using strong hands-on materials. This kit is an excellent tool for introducing students to the concept of light traveling in a straight line. It also introduces the uses and properties of mirrors. There are five core activities included in this package: Using a Mirror, Properties of Mirrors, Images in a Mirror, Reflection, Many Images. Students explore and discover concepts with minimal teacher direction as they manipulate plastic mirrors and mirror holders to create images. The material is user-friendly, and the safe plastic mirrors are of exceptional quality. The illustrated step-by-step process with easy-to follow instructions is presented in individual worksheets. The instruction manual provides detailed information about mirrors and all answers to the student worksheets.
