This activity will involve careful observations and checking the accuracy of a hypothesis or guess. Students will be using indirect observations involving senses other than sight to determine a configuration inside a “black box.” While doing the activity, students will gain an understanding and appreciation of the importance of careful observations, collecting data, forming hypotheses, testing hypotheses, forming conclusions, and forming models.
